Typesetting Services

Typesetting

We turn your request into a file ready to proof, quote, and manufacture.

The process:

1. Email us your request and information to typeset: spreadsheet, list, sketch, engineering drawing, photo, etc. (whatever works for you)

2. We'll review your request and confirm any issues before we proceed.

3. If applicable, we will check the new request against what we have on your file, matching previous fonts and spacing to maintain stylistic continuity.

4. We will typeset your request, recording the time it takes.

5. You will recieve the typeset file in PDF format for proofing, and any other formats that you require. (AI, DXF, SVG, EPS, CDR, etc.)

6. If needed, we can make any ammendments and resend you the files.

7. Finally, you will recieve an invoice for the time it took to typeset (see below pricing). After the first few typesets, we can set up monthly invoicing for your convenience.

That's it!

Not sure if we're the right fit? No worries, reach out to us with your request and we'll provide you a sample of our services, suited to your needs, free of charge and commitment.

Pricing

$40/hour + GST (AUD) for any typesetting task.

We're transparent with our pricing so we can build a trustworthy relationship you can depend on.

Why Typesetting?

Well, thats for you to decide.

If you are satisfied with the price and quality of your current suppliers, or if you manufacture your own goods and are ontop of everything, then maybe you don't need our services.

But if you want to hold onto your own design files for record, have the freedom of choosing your own suppliers based on quotes and turnaround, and get ahead of the never ending backlog of work, then we're here to help.

We're in the business of providing a simple service for those that need it.

What Products have you Typeset Before?

Our team has experience typesetting the following products:

There are many products we can extend our skillset to, so if you are after something not mentioned here, we will be happy to accommodate.

Send through an enquiry and at the very least we will point you in the right direction.

Simple Example

The following is a simple example of a job for an electrical company. We're happy to do any job, big or small.

Files for engraving are usually output with a red outline and black text, only indicating their colours above with a descriptive text. (white/black = white background, black text)

This is because most laser engraving software use red as a cut line, and black as an engraving fill, where the colour is simply the chosen material.

For printed designs, the outline will be changed by the print shop to a "spot colour" the printer ignores or cuts, allowing for a clean print onto white substrate.
